Hotel towels for export markets

Hotel towel standards differ from country to country. Northern European laundries in the Netherlands, Germany and France use weights from 400 to 600 g/m² with identification header bars by size. Italian buyers expect 40 × 60 guest towels and 60 × 100 hand towels with cam, dobby or Greek borders. Spanish ranges use specific 20/2, 24/2 and 16/1 pile yarns. The UK uses 67 × 135 bath and 50 × 90 hand towels with Greek or check bath mats, and the US works in inches, from 12 × 12 in washcloths to 24 × 50 in bath towels.
